If there's a problem with pasting into Q&A (such as
"beeps" or garbage being pasted) it means you have Fast Pasting
turned on in your Q&A setup in Windows. Q&A for DOS doesn't support Fast
Pasting. In Windows 95, follow these steps to turn Fast Pasting off
for Q&A:
- Quit Q&A.
- Click on your Q&A shortcut icon with the right
mouse button.
- Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
- Click on the Misc tab.
- Uncheck the Fast Pasting checkbox.
- Click OK.
- Restart Q&A and try pasting again.
If you don't run Q&A for DOS in
Windows:
- Follow steps 1 through 3 above to copy the programming to
Windows Clipboard.
- Paste the copied program or text into a Windows word
processor such as NotePad, WordPad, or Word for Windows.
- Save the document as a plain text file.
- Use the F8 / Document / Insert command in
Q&A to insert the text file into the expanded field at the Program Spec.
